Hello All,

Been a little hiatus from the blog the last few weeks. Last 2 Sundays have been kinda crazy. Not too much new to report over here. Had a band practice Saturday, went pretty well, should be a solid show. Celebrated Jeremy's b day on Sat. night and me and Max did some shopping Sunday at the farmers market. Nothing too good out there yet.

** Random thoughts ****

I have been enjoying the world cup. Granted the U.S. game was poorly officiated and the jerk on the radio gave me the score of the game about an hour before I watched it, but that being said it was still pretty exciting. The New Zealand Italy game was about the most exciting tie I have ever seen too, really good game. I'll have to give the Premier League a shot when it starts up.

How come ladies are such jerks? Whenever I go biking and pass a dude 70% of the time I'm going to get a hi or nod. Passing the ladies? Probably about %40. And passing a fellow cycler, about 95%, gotta love the biker code.

Well Alright, It's Okay

Greetings readers, busy times for the Strehlo fam this last couple weeks, Memorial Day, birthdays, parties, concerts, etc. Here's some pics from the last weekend. Last night we went to She & Him at First Ave with Jerry & Sara. Good times. They were all business, just whipping through their songs. Concert was excellent, didn't love their encore selection but other than that it was very solid. We did see a girl going barefoot in first ave, that was disgusting. Today we are off to celebrate Lars' b day at famous daves, mmmmmm famous daves.

Got some other big news, looks like the Northernmost Pilots are going to be the last act to perform at the big TomTEN jam this year. Wow, what an honor. Basically in the last 4 years I have went from not playing music at all to jamming every week. Special thanks to the Wrenshall crew for putting this Dingwop together and getting me back to rocking out. Should be great times, Wayne made a pretty cool looking flyer too, you'll have to check out his site.

Decided to get a brew and I wanted something a little bigger than the 12 oz.er. I didn't realize this baby was a pint + 8 oz. Quite a mammoth drink. I was basically lugging around a champagne bottle.





Here is the clip of the week, couldn't find a great live one, so this will do. Everyone is pretty subdued here. The older rhythm guitar player in the background was sweet at the concert. He had good energy rocking out, I dug him.

Hello readers, early Sunday post for you. Nothing too exciting to report. Had a BBQ at the Forys house on Friday, a little band practice on Sat. and Sam and Max are at a baby shower right now. Made some excellent progress toward TomTEN, should have about 10-12 songs for all of our rabid fans, just about all new stuff too. Here are some pics for everyone, enjoy!

Had a little hiatus, didn't feel like blogging last weekend. Got lots of pics for you from Mothers Day and this weekend. Went with the Hennes to the childrens museum on Saturday and that's about the only eventful thing we did. I was prepared for it to be a zoo in there but it wasn't bad at all, very nice!

Time for some weekly awards

The "I don't get it award" - Max has a sudden obsession with Thomas the Train and I don't get it. Have you seen the show? Pretty boring if you ask me, half the shows don't even have a story.

The "Bravo" award- To Wayner and the Drunkards of Ol Wrenshall. Really enjoy the music selection. I was hesistant to check out the Avett Bro's but he put a killer clip on and I checked em out, love em. The new swell season tune is very good as well.

The "I don't know why but it makes me mad" award- You know when you are getting ready to exit and the lane hasn't quite materialized yet but people are in such a hurry to get over to that lane, I hate those people.

The " We should have had this sooner award" - We just got DVR a couple days ago, amazing invention. Haven't put it to full use yet but I am looking forward to.

The "Really, Really????" Award- To the cable guy who managed to go stink up not 1, but both of our bathrooms in one visit. Really, Really??? I'm only glad I wasn't here to go through that uncomfortableness.

Greetings Readers,

Pretty busy week for the Strehlo's. Sat. we had our 5k in IGH then I headed to a bachelor party for the big boss man (paul). Sunday Sam headed out to another shower for Maggie. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Not too much else to add, how bout a little TV reviews?

Top 3 Shows you should be watching:

1. Breaking Bad - 1st season was excellent, 2nd was pretty darn good, and this season is off to a very good start. Highly recommended.

2. Mad Men- Season 3 is starting fairly soon I think, get on board now.

3. Modern Family - Very funny show, wasn't a huge fan at first but it's coming along.

Do you ever watch some shows/ movies and you don't even know why you are watching them. They aren't horrible but they are not great either. The all time not the great but i'll watch it everytime is the movie Airborne. Caught it on TV last week and of course i HAD to watch it. Check out the clip, amazing! Be on the lookout for a young Jack Black & Seth Green.
