Deep Thoughts

hello bloggerville, not too much to report this weekend. I had the Langer wedding Saturday, hopefully I didn't act too crazy. Sam hung out with her friend Lindsay. Sunday we had Sloppy Sr. & Jr. over (no relation), then off to the Strehlo's for Sunday dinner. Busy weekend. Anyway, during one of those visits we had a little conversation about TV shows. I'm gonna try not to sway your votes and say anything, but please vote on my little polls here. I'm interested to see what kind of tastes our readers have, hopefully good ones. Not too much else new, Max is taking some baby steps if forced, he really doesn't like it at all though.

** Random thought of the day ** I can barely remember my work phone #. I remember when I could rattle off like 10 of my friends #'s and I can't keep track of 2-3 now. Are cell phones ruining peoples memories like spell check is ruining my spelling abilities? ******

yada yada yada

Hello blogosphere, not too much new to report here. I'll post some pics, but it was a pretty boring weekend, which was lovely.

*** had to move the vids to youtube, they weren't loading on the site for some reason. How great is that third video there with creepy wern staring back at ya, it's like the mona lisa he follows you around the room. I love it! ***

*** New segment for this weeks blog, the tip of the week. ***** I'll do a twofer today. First, hulu.com has every episode of battledome, if you like wrestling and american gladiators, you'll love it. Not sure how well its aged though, only got to watch a little of it. ****

*** 2nd tip of the week. I'm sure Sam could give you the link, but we got a chord that'll turn your tv into a computer monitor. Pretty cool, we can watch netflix stuff on it, dont have a full review for this either since we havent had time to use it too much.

Alright, that's all I got, thought I would try something new instead of the same ol same ol. Hopefully should have a new guitar vid for ya soon.

The Dancing Man

Max has become quite the dancer lately. He seems to shy away from the camera though. I was able to catch him on video for a few seconds. Enjoy!

Chad could not get his video to work. We will try again next week. Sorry to disappoint!

Hello devoted readers,

Not too much new over here. Had a somewhat lowkey weekend. Little bit of writers block again. Can't think of too much to write. Did another song this week, kinda screwed it up at the end but I didnt feel like recording another one. I'll try to do a new one each week, we'll see how long that lasts. Wayne- gonna need some songs from you, love to see that bass in action. Here's some pics, have a good week!

Taught Max the touchdown sign. He did it everytime the first day, now its about a 1 in 10 shot.
Goat at the apple farm.

Gma Sue got Max a pumpkin. I think its his favorite toy so far.

Sams first homeade apple pie, mmmmmm!

Damit kannst du dich begraben lassen!

Guten Tag readers,

nice lil weekend for the Strehlo fam. Visited with the rest of the Strehlo clan on Saturday for sam's belated b day celebration, then to the house of Henne Sunday. Good times. Got some pics for ya below.

** Me & Sam are also going to go on a limb and say that the hoarding show on TLC has the makings of an amazing show. Good TV. Monkey babies or whatever they call it, that's getting a little trashy. And of course if you haven't watched the challenge on MTV- (The ruins this year) than I just don't know what to tell you, should be an epic season. ****

Not too much else, have a great week everyone. Maybe a special blog tomorrow, we'll see. I think there's some game tomorrow, the vikes and somebodies old team. Wait its Ryan Longwells former team, should be drama!!!!!

Dinner at Gasthaus on Saturday.

The was my meal, I think they just chopped off a pigs leg and gave it too me. It was pretty good although i'm not a huge fan of sauerkraut. Sara "The Pit" Strehlo had a pretty large meal too. Of course she wolfed it down then had some coconut cake later. What a champ! She wasn't feeling too hot later though.

Sam showing off her Oktoberfest
I went with the Pilsner, was a little disappointed I didnt get the cool looking mug.
Jerry & Sara fresh off their trip from Europe. I think we should have a special guest blog by them to tell some stories, they have some good ones.
The fam posing for pics, Max mugging for the camera.
The patented Strehlo b day cake pose.
oh my! look at that giant baby!
Little stretching out on the big boy chair.
Justin, Joey, and Max.

Finally a vid post for the Troubadour Of Tomten, you ask, I deliver.

Hello Bloggerville,

Again I apologize for the lack of posting, just been a hectic last month or so. We actually had a relaxing weekend and it was wonderful. Not too much new to report. Spent some time with friends, Max got his first haircut and Sam filled in for bowling again. Highlight of the night was her dropping her ball on the approach, high comedy. Here is some pics, have a great week!

** I was gonna write some witty stuff here under the pics but I have a little case of writers block.***

I'll just comment on Nic's blog instead. I am also a big fan of the horn. I don't get to break it out too often, but when I do I also use it. For road rage the only prescription is more horn. Sam always goes nuts when I use the horn though, I think she thinks the person is gonna pull out a gun and shoot us or something. Alright though, that's my mini rant of the day.

The hair was looking a little long here.

Where were we?

Hello all, sorry for the recent bouts in inactivity on the site. We've had a case of the blogging Mondays for about 15 days straight. Things are starting to settle down now so we will try to blog with great fury. Nothing too much on this front, I'll post some pics and try to spin a little web of a tail with them.

Went to the park on Labor Day for a little bit. Max of course loves the swings, liked the slides. He climbed up one of them all by himself, i was impressed. He's a little monkey.

He was going for his Bono look there.
Having fun at IGH days. Max said it was no Oakdale Summerfest, but he had a good time.
Sam and baby Joey. Sam had to fill in on the bowling squad Saturday. I think i coached them to victory, I think. not entirely sure if they won or not. The whole handicap thing was throwing me.

JB and his patented slow curve in action.
after watching a couple games and not bowling you tend to get a little bored. This was my favorite bored pic I took. Seriously though, what kind of bowling alley doesnt have the gophers game but you can watch an episode of CSI?

Henne and his famous booty shimmy finish. He had a strike going for 5 or 6 frames. Which brings me to this question- how long does he have to go before everyone stopped talking to him, like a perfect game. I said if he had it going into frame 7, thoughts?

Mrs. just below 100.
Me & Max in our vikes gear, Hey!
The B day group, minus Bryan.
New Hair Cut.
Walking in a Whisking Wonderland! excellent pun, right? right?
