Todd Mulcahy

Hello devoted readers,

Wow, I think this is 2 Sundays in a row of new blogs, lucky you! Well, not too much new to report here in Woodbury. We took a family trip down to the Children's Museum today. Max had a blast, I think he enjoyed it more than he did last time. He did most of the stuff all by himself. No dinosaur exhibit today but they did have a lego castle area that was pretty cool. Here are some pics, enjoy!

New baptized Martin and fam.
Surfing the web.
Water time!
Trying to get Max to sit still for a pic.
Lego fun
Ant maze. Basically it's a couple little tunnels that the kids crawl in. We decided not to follow him in then we heard about 5 kids crying a few minutes later. Luckily, he popped out and with no tears.
Bono Jr.
wait, it's Max!

Our clip of the week goes to the Monkees, who will be performing TWO shows at the MN Zoo this summer. I can actually say I remember watching this show.

And finally our song of the Week - Ringo leading on Act Naturally. Gotta be the best Ringo sung song, right?

Viva

Greetings readers, if anyone is still out there. Well, where were we? Last week Sam and myself took a trip down to Vegas with the Henne's, minus the little ones. Good times were had. Rachel can give you the full rundown, but long story short we stayed an extra day in Nevada, I guess there was some snow in Minnesota or something. We are adjusting to life back home this week and have a sick kid on our hands for what seems like the fist time. As I right this Max is hanging out laying on the floor- his preferred sleeping spot when he is sick. Here are some pics from the last few weeks, enjoy. Maybe i'll put a song and clip of the week if you are lucky.

How could you leave this guy for 4 days?
Or this one?
One restaraunt had a map of the US. I guess we are known for our farms and planes. And Iowa has a killer carnival I guess.
Weather held up nicely. Mid 50's wasn't amazing but it was supposed to rain 2-3 days and we didn't feel any rain.
Bunnies at the Bellagio. Probably my favorite Casino there. I thought that was the high roller spot until we saw $500 blackjack tables at the Wynn and 4 people gladly filling up spots there. The private sections had $1,000 slots too.

Re-creation of a photo.

Me and my buddy sponge bob. Sadly I didn't get a pic of out of shape spider man.

Bellagio
Lobby of Bellagio
Me and T Bar at the Flamingo - I think. Most of the casino's are connected together and it all starts to feel like the same place. I had a little bit of that in downtown at Binions, the 4 queens, etc. Completely confused.

View from our first hotel - The Monte Carlo. Overall it was good but the water power in the shower was comparable to a firehose. I think I had a gallon of water on the floor after my first run.

View from our 2nd hotel at Treasure Island. Liked TI more. We had a better view and I didn't get any bruises from the shower.

Pirate show at TI, pretty good for a free show. I wanted to commend the pirates for taking a 20 ft swan dive into what had to be very chilly water. Through our booking we also got free tix to the beatles love - Cirque De Soleil. Highly recommend it if you are a fan of beatles tunes and people jumping around.

Couldn't find a good vegas vacation clip. More Nick Papagorgio People! Swingers will have to do.

No good show clips either.

And for the song of the week......

Super Post

Thought it was time for an update since it has been so long. Here is what is new since the last time we posted:
  • Max turned 2
  • Chad became a soccer player
  • We put in new laminate flooring on our first floor
  • Our new nephew, Martin, was born about a week ago
In between all that we have just been working, hanging, and running after Max. I know it does not seem very exciting, but it keeps us very busy (hence the lack of blogging over the past couple of months).

Enjoy all the pictures. Hopefully we will start blogging more regularly again.

Max loved the tractors at the state fair...

and the corn

Hanging out in the Grove. Some things never change.
Dinner with Linds while she was in town.

Dinner at Gasthaus. Max's meal was huge, but he ate like a champ.

Henne's surprise birthday bowling party.

The boys having fun at the arcade.

Unfortunately, the next two pictures are the best "before" pictures we have

Take 1
Take 2
Take 3
Take 4, and not one picture of all of them looking at the same time.

Como Zoo
Our drummer. Chad's getting him ready for the band.
Emily's wedding. Mitch and Chad are into the music.

Halloween
Max and Joey at the soccer game.
Chad the soccer player.

Luckily, we have an awesome hill next to our house. Max loves sliding down it.

Baby Martin, the new addition to the Strehlo family.
