Hello Devoted readers,
Got a lot of pics for you from our trip to the great MN get together and the grown up trip to NYC. Enjoy!
Bus ride to the fair
Checking out the farm animals.
Max decided we had to go on this ride. Of course all that is protecting us and death is a little bar. I had max in the bear hug for about 10 minutes. Good times.
Good ol rides on the ground. He was just tall enough to ride by himself.
The annual yellow slide.
Eating a big pickle.
Night #1 in NYC at Times Square. Have to say that is wasn't nearly as nuts as I thought it was going to be. The cab rides were as crazy as advertised. I wouldn't say the yellow lines were as much of a rule as a suggestion. Saw one cabby tell off a lady standing in the street and a crazy guy threw a gatorade bottle at me. I didn't feel as special when he did the same thing to a person 10 ft. behind me. Throwing it at just me wasn't good enough for you!
One of the bigger disappointments of the trip. The Imposter naked cowboy. I'm thinking the naked cowboy must've franchised himself out or something. This one couldn't even play guitar. I am a little confused how they actually make money too.
First celeb sighting, the Snoop D-O- double G. We were one of the first 15 or so to spot him. Seconds later there was like 50 people crowded around him.
Central Park
The Imagine "monument" at Strawberry Fields.
Across the street where Lennon was shot.
The apartment from ghostbusters 1. No one wanted to re-create any scenes with me.
Lego Star Wars and some nerd.
United Nations.
30 Rock. Ended up taking a tour and seeing a few sets, including the SNL set. We saw Tony Dungy in the lobby as well.
Gotta have a sanny in NYC, right?
Nerd Alert!!!!!!!!!
Chrysler Building
Grand Central Station
Ghostbuster stop #2. New York Public Library. Pretty cool spot, liked all the marble inside. T bar was not impressed with the number of books he saw.
Top of the rock at night.
Samantha with her cupcake.
In front of the apartment. Yes, the lower level really did have a psychic. Didn't look like she had a ton of business.
Subway Sammi.
9-11 Memorial
On our way to Wall Street we came across the 99%'ers. Little disappointed with the lack of numbers and spirit. They were basically all just sitting there. I wanted a little enthusiasm.
Site of GW's inauguration.
Little Italy, not pictured Chinatown. Told myself I needed to barter in Chinatown and that is what I did. Ended up getting a "Rolex" watch. Hopefully it doesn't give me lead poisoning.
Apt views - our bedroom
