Justin Bieber

Hello Bloggerinos,

Been awhile since we posted. I won't bore you with everything that has gone on (Carson's 1st b day, 4th of July, Sam Being "laid off" from the state, 2 year anniversary, etc.). Past weekend was pretty busy for us. Dining out on Friday, park, concert and bar on Saturday, and carshow Sunday.

New segment for the blog, let's called it Funny observations and moments:

A guy bumped into Sam at the bar, proceeded to then touch her face and say, you're beautiful. I was 2 feet away and didn't see any of this, so she's probably trying to make me jealous.

Max told me today that I was his hero. I asked him if it was because I was so good looking and he said yes. I guess mom Sam has some competition!

We'll have to start getting more Max quotes in here. He brought me into his room today and he wanted something in his closet- he says you're big, you should get it. Might not seem funny, but it was.

Checked out the stats for the blog today. Over 4,000 views for the site, wow! It was interesting to see the searches that people did to get to our site. Check them out below.

I especially like that dingwop is in there. Also seemed Como Zoo too. Since Como zoo brought some people in I thought I would title the post Justin Bieber to see if the Bieb would bring us even more. Onto the pics!

FYI.. some of our pics got screwed up while trying to load, so I have a limited vault to choose from.

Carson's b day. His legs somehow got separated from his body. Don't worry, he's fine.

Getting ready for Cars2- first movie at the theatre! He did pretty good for about the first 40 min. Struggled a bit toward the end but we made it.

Feeding the ducks in Minneap with the Larson crew.

Eric and Max in the 67 olds 442
Transformer car, they were hyping it up at the car show, we were a little disappointed.

Video of the week:

Trampled by Turtles covered shelter from the storm for the last song. Luckily it started raining about 15 min. later after we made it to the car.

Success!!!!!

Hello readers,

Busy weekend again for the Strehlo fam. Friday we went to the Florence and the Machine concert at the MN Zoo. Good concert, didn't end up raining so that was excellent as well. I had my poncho all ready for nothing. Saturday I helped the Henne family move and Sam headed to the Stonearch Festival. Finally of course today was Fathers day and we were busy seeing the fam. Big news of the week. Max has started potty training. He went 4 times on Thursday and has kept it up. He didn't have any #1 accidents all day today. #2 is a little different story. I'll save him embarrasment 10 years down the road by retelling the bath time accident. Needless to say it was funny and gross. On to the pics!

Yep, I'm a big boy!
The New Chair!
The new couch. I must say, much more comfortable to fall asleep on than the love seat.
Florence, she put on a good show. She wore this flowy red dress and twirled around. Not to sound lame, but it looked cool.
Other good thing, the show was sold out.... except for the 4 seats in front of us that went unfilled, lovely.
Cousins!
Grandpa and Martin with the new haircut.
The Strehlo men, Max wasn't cooperating much.
Max on uncle Jerry's new ride. Not uncle Jeremy (Jerry) another uncle Jerry.

Finally the clip of the week. Naturally a clip from Friday's show. First song of the night and what is turning out to be my favorite song of hers. Good stuff.

My Boy Builds Coffins - Florence & The Machine at the MN Zoo. Yep, we were there.

I believe this is Sams favorite song. There are some pretty funny audience commentaries in there. Lots of ladies at the crowd, and let's just say they were not interested in me at all.

Periodico

Hola readers,

been on kinda a blogging kick again, lucky you. Fairly busy weekend for the Strehlo fam. We headed down to Stillwater for a fun filled family day yesterday and then off to Carsons baptism today. Oh- Otis also had a near death experience too. I was petting him the other night and noticed this pinkish "growth "on his ear. After some poking around and consulting with Sam we discovered that yes, it was a ginormous dog tick. Distgusting. I was going to post a pic, but I think i would scare off half the readers, look it up if you are curious. Enough of that fun stuff, on to the pics.

Teddy Bear Park, pretty cool place. Basically one block off the main drag in Stillwater.

Spiderman!
He was running around like a crazy person at the park. We went down by the water and he was ready to pass out.

The baptism crew.
The Godfather.

Clip of the week:

For some reason the tick made me think of this, very underrated movie by the way. Oh Mike Myers, what happened to you?

I need to tell you something

Greeting devoted readers!

Well, I believe this is 2 weeks in a row, lucky you. The title is Maxwell's new phrase. Had some free time since Max decided to pass out at like 6 today. Must've been too much pool time. Nothing too excited going on over here. Sam and Max had a grad party yesterday at Minnehaha Falls, I hear good times were had. Here are some pics below. Enjoy!

Playing with the sprinkler on Friday night. He was pretty fearless considering how cold the water probably was. Trying to get a vid posted.

Hanging out in Minnehaha Falls with Uncle E.
Filling up the pool today.
Otis!!!!!
Wow, those 2 are ridiculously good looking.
Max passed out around 6. You may be saying to yourself, where's the furniture. Well, myself and Papa T broke down the old stuff today (thanks Dad!). New stuff will be coming Thursday.

Video of the week goes to the Temper Trap, kind of U2ish if you ask me.

I tell ya

Hello Devoted Readers,
Lots has happened since our last chat. I visited the Wern last weekend, we celebrated mothers day, and took a trip up to Fargo to visit the Schunks. We also bought a new couch and chair today. They should be arriving sometime next week. If anyone wants a free loveseat, 2 chairs, and 2 ottomans, let me know. Onto the pics and vids.

** Forgot we also went to the wedding reception for Mitch & Carly. *** The guy dancing on the floor was amazing.

Sam & Meredith
The Simley Crew
Carson & Max on Mother's day.
Great G Ma Anne and Max reading comics.
Take one of the cousin pics.
Take 2, much easier when the crazy man isn't involved.

Pool Time! pretty quiet for a little while. Picked up toward the end when the dude in the sweet mullet showed up, sorry no pic.

That's sadly the best pool pic for our camera. That's what happens when you give Gma JoJo the camera.
Caleb playing in the empty cabinets.
Max probably could've and did spend hours playing in there.
Pretty happy for a guy who got dominated by the crane game.

We have some videos to post from the trip as well but we are having technical difficulties. Stay tuned!

Song of the week:

Noah & the Whale - Life is Life

Picked up their latest disc before the big Fargo trip. Good stuff. Kinda get a Petty vibe from them, not completely though. Regardless, it has been in heavy rotation the last few days.

Spazzy McGee

Hello friends,

Been awhile since I blogged and I have a little bit of material so here we go. Not too much new at the Strehlo house. I was supposed to go to Dallas for work but it ended up getting canceled. Sadly, I won't be going to Gilley's. Max wasn't feeling well this past week and we learned he had a double ear infection. He seems to be in better spirits now. The other Chad (spaz, spazzy mcgee, ultraman) was in town for a little bit and the gang went out last night. Good times were had by all, there is a certain someone in the fam that is paying for it a little bit more than the rest (Hint: It's not me or Max). Here are some pics below. Enjoy!

Kite time! We've had some good kite flying days, although I will say our $1 kite isn't the easiest to get up in the air. Max was more interested in the streamers than the kite.
The gray blur you see is me in action.
Tenting up!
The Larson crew had some gerbils at Easter time and Max got to play with them. Wasn't scared at all, tried to pick them up a few times but he wasn't fast enough.

Having fun with the washable markers. He must have ate one when I wasn't looking. He was a little sick here and looking pale so he kinda has a zombie look here. And yes, that dude on the TV looks amazing.

Sam, Rachel, and Kelly. Eventful night. I think that was the first table of friends I've been at that we 95% parents. Crazy. Congrats to the Roberto's on their baby girl as well.

Spazzy and Senor Forys. Smile Chad!
NERDDDDDD!

Song of the week: Good tune- been in heavy rotation lately.

Clip of the week, in honor of the greatest mechanical bull riding movie ever!
